This is a series of photos taken after a tree decided to fall in my path.

The pictures were taken about an hour after it happened... Notice that one side of the road had already been cleared of debris to let traffic by...

I was coming out of a blind turn going about 30 MPH- There had been heavy rains the days before and on this day was a very heavy wind storm. As I came out of the turn, the tree was on top of me. It was the mid section of the tree that was in my path and being a VERY large oak tree, I had no place to go but through it.
A log came through the top and the roll bar saved my head- it landed by my leg. Another came through the windshield & missed me.
It killed the jeep- I don't remember it stopping but it just died after I got through it. I guess the air bag didn't go off because the impact was basically on top of me rather than in front of me
The jeep was totaled- it literally squished the frame.

Rescue told me that my reaction to gas it saved my life. The first responder said I must have an angel watching over me to be able to walk away from such an ordeal
